Drones are playing an important role in changing our view of the world. After all, seeing the world from above gives you a new perspective about everything. Regular photography may have once been considered the newest form of art, but drone photography is taking that to a whole new level, literally. Take a look at these incredible drone photos showcasing the natural beauty of our world, we are sure it will leave you in awe.

1. Fish Avoiding A Shark Apparently Form A Heart

Movies show us sharks that are always looking for ways to hunt humans. In reality, there are very few unprovoked attacks by sharks each year. This drone photo shows that sharks are good by heart. Well, not entirely, but you get what we're trying to say.
Here, a shark is inside a school of salmon while the salmon are avoiding the shark as though it has Covid-19. It seems like fish species are more intelligent than humans when it comes to keeping a distance.

2. Flamingo's Gathering On The Beach

These flamingos at Lake Logipi have gathered for what looks like a party. Nature has made here one wonderful, beautiful melody of colors! Those flamingos look like a painter has just added a splash of pink to an already beautiful scene.
We had no idea that nature could look this beautiful, and after seeing this photo we are already wondering when we can book a flight to Kenya to see more sights like these.

3. Scaring And Amazing Tourists At The Same Time

The person who took this drone photo was told that a gray whale plays with boats and even pushes them gently. So, he went there to experience this once-in-a-lifetime interaction with these amazing animals.
That whale is giving the ultimate nose boop. It is so heartwarming to see them still trust humans despite the fact that we haven't always been so kind to them or to many other animals.

4. Where Herons Live

A lot of people think that herons make their nest near ponds or in a swamp. In reality, they nest in the tops of giant trees. This person was able to capture a beautiful shot with their drone.
It is unusual to see both the usual blue-grey and the white morph version together in one shot.

5. Protesting While Maintaining Social Distancing

This drone photo is of thousands of Israelis who protested against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on April 19, 2020, while strictly maintaining social distancing.
It seems like a lot of countries need to learn from these protestors. Do you think your country is following social distancing restrictions like they are?

6. Ladies and Gentlemen, That's Pearl of the Gulf

Who knew that the Covid pandemic could cause a massive lockdown in a city that never sleeps? This is the busiest highway in Dubai and the lockdown meant there were no cars on the highway at all.
It is truly an incredible shot that says so much. Who would have expected that empty roads or highways would be beautiful?

7. Can We Please Pet The Grass?

The grass looks so soft, like something straight out of a Disney movie. A girl with her mother and a herd of cows is walking across the pasture.
What an absolutely amazing photo as the grass looks tactile enough to touch. It looks just like fur.

8. Is That An Alien Spaceship?

Sometimes all you need to do is look from a different angle to change the perspective and this is perfectly shown in this drone photo of the Petronas Tower (aka Petronas Twin Towers) in Kuala Lampur.
Looking at it from a different perspective: it kinda looks like a chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

9. Have You Ever Seen A Place More Breathtaking Than Iceland?

This lonely road is not what John Denver is talking about in his song, "Take me home, country roads."
The photographer took this photo while driving along Ring Route 1 in Iceland. An enchanted landscape surrounds the road.

10. A Scene From Blade Runner 2049?

This drone photo might start a debate: are sunrises better than sunsets? One thing we know for sure is that this photo looks magical!

11. An Unreal Drone Shot in Iceland

This drone shot is of a spectacular crater row in Iceland's vast interior. Who knew Iceland was packing such hot stuff. Now we want to go to Iceland.
By the way, the white four-wheel-drive vehicle can be seen driving beneath the craters. The driver must be having a great time there.

12. Frozen Movie Scene in Real Life

So when the temperatures get below 30°C in the Eurasian steppe, the winter can be really brutal. But that doesn't mean life stops there.
This drone photo of a local shows how they move from one village to another on a sledge. This is a magical photo that looks super photoshopped at first glance. But it is as real as it gets.

13. It's Not Oil Painting

At first glance, it looks like an oil painting. Or some may even think that a pair of dragons is sky dancing. But it is an incredibly beautiful drone shot.
This drone photo is of Lake Owens that had a destructive past of creating the most toxic dustbowl in America. But now migratory birds are returning and things are coming back to normal.

14. Tropical Bride

The photographer used drone technology to take a stunning bride photo that will leave you speechless. And those ladies who are planning on getting married can take ideas from this photo.

15. Watch Out for The Crocodiles

When you find a buffalo herd passing a lake, you waste no time taking a drone photo. Once they reach the shelter, they will rest.
We loved the rainbow and the dust kicked up just makes it more surreal. Such a gorgeous shot!

16. Looks Like a Big Bumblebee

This drone shot is of a small village in the Częstochowa region that is characterized by large rapeseed crops. They create spellbinding patterns that extend to the horizon.

18. Looks Like An Eye

At first, you take some time to see what's so special about this photo. You notice that a wedding couple is in the kayak that is in the field.
With perfect weather conditions and a creative person behind the drone, you get a special wedding photo. We also think that it also looks like the eye of an animal.

19. 'Rays' of Hope

This is a school of Mobula rays (also called Munk's pygmy devil rays) swimming in the same circular direction.
It looks so mesmerizing, something that makes you want to spend life out there. Photos like this show us that the world is still beautiful if you explore the right places.

20. The Beauty of Faroe Islands

This is a place that looks terrifying and stunning at the same time. But we will go with stunning given we're not there. We called it terrifying because it reminds us of the movie The Lighthouse.
Would you go to this place? It seems like not a very welcoming place. It looks like all stone, but maybe there is some plant life.

Pawel Zygmunt

21. Aladdin's Carpets

This is a drone shot of hundreds of hand-woven carpets placed in the fields. It seems like the pair of workers was tired after working all day and wanted to relieve their tiredness of the day.
Can anyone find Aladdin's carpet in there? We loved this photo as it is full of vibrant colors.

22. Explosion of Colors

These women are sorting dry red chilies and it looks so beautiful. However, the sad part is that these women collect red chilies under the hot sun for over 10 hours a day.
At the end of the day, they only get a little paycheck. They are really brave women as sorting red chilies is no easy task, that too under the sun.

23. A Power Aerial Shot

This is a drone shot of over two million people in Hong Kong who took the streets on 16 June 2019 to protest and call on the government to withdraw the highly controversial extradition bill.
At the historic protest, one protestor Leung Ling Kit hung a banner of the people's demands in the city center and then took his life.

24. Looks Like Melted Lollipop

Let us clear that this is not a bath bomb. This is an abstract shot of a pink lake chemical reaction in Western Australia and it looks so mesmerizing to watch.
Are you wondering how these colors developed in the lake? The pink hue was caused by microscopic algae producing beta carotene, which has diminished as the salt levels fell due to harvesting.

25. Another Glimpse of Life Under COVID-19

This is the heart of Warsaw, but it was totally deserted at the time this drone photo was taken. This is the oldest part of Warsaw.

This is one of those wedding photos that should be framed and hanged on the wall without having any doubt it might look cheesy.
With the beautiful couple lying near VW Beetle, what more do you want. You got the recipe to take memorable wedding photos.

29. Not Niagara Falls

This spectacular photo is of a surfer trying to challenge the waves. As if riding the waves is so difficult, surfers like this one try to tame them.
This is truly amazing. If you are a thrill-seeker, this is something you should try. But not before gaining experience because these waves can be deadly.

30. How Deep Is That Hole?

We know that the title for this image may have caused some doubts in your mind, but we really have a genuine question with no other intentions at all.
For some reasons, such a hole in a dam is making us feel extremely uneasy. What about you? By the way, it is a spillway.

31. Haunting Six Flags New Orleans (SFNO)

This is a drone photo of abandoned Six Flags in New Orleans. Due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, it was completely flooded, left alone for years, and then forgotten.
Instead of revitalizing the land, they abandoned it and now it is sitting there for 15 years and counting. The park spans 140 acres and has been used in Hollywood movies.

This drone photo captures the world's worst traffic jam during China's National Day Golden Week.
The reason behind this monster traffic jam was 750 million Chinese that went on holiday and were returning on the penultimate date of the holidays. The traffic jam lasted for 12 days (yeah, you read it right).

36. Lion vs. Drone

This lion is looking at a drone flying over him and what’s really interesting about this photo is that the lion is not scared of it. As most animals fear the unknown, the lion held his ground.
In fact, the lion is waiting for his moment to take a big leap and grab the drone. This is a truly stunning drone photo.

37. One Hot View

The National Geographic team explored an active volcano located in the Republic of Vanuatu's archipelago in the South Pacific.
So they went close to lava and even took aerial shots of it. We're pretty sure it must have been nerve-wracking for everyone involved in it.
