Quick! Check your parent's basement and attic because there might be some valuable toys that are worth a fortune today! From Hot Wheels to Polly Pocket sets, you could rake in a few thousand dollars. Continue reading to see how much your old toys could sell for. You might be sitting on a pile of cash.

1. Original Tamagotchi

If you were a child in the '90s, you know how hard these little eggs were to take care of. You probably killed your Tamagotchi a few times and had to reset it, but you loved that little toy. If you happen to have an original Tamagotchi, you could make some money off of it.
A Tamagotchi still in the box could be sold for $3,000. The company launched a whole new line of Tamagotchis that have colored screens and can connect to a mobile app. It is probably a lot easier to take care of them when you can access it from your phone.

In particular, Mario Kart 64 is one of the most sought after games for Nintendo 64, and one of these sold for $750. Another rare game people are looking for is Harvest Moon 64. There weren't many made, so people have paid up to $900 to get their hands on it.

Some of these cards are extremely rare. For instance, there is a holographic misprint Mewtwo card that sold for $11,997. Other cards are going for similar sums like a pre-released holographic Raichu card that is worth $10,000.

5. Original 1963 Easy-Bake Oven

The original Easy-Bake Oven was introduced to the market in 1963 and was an instant hit. It came in teal or light yellow, and every little girl had to have one. The desserts are "cooked" by a light bulb inside, and people will pay up to $4,000 for an original one.
A regular oven costs much less than $4,000 and you can actually cook food in it. Go ahead and see if you have one in storage somewhere because someone might be willing to pay big bucks for it.

If you are extra lucky, you might be holding onto one with a rare spelling mistake on the box. During one of their first releases, the Furby box was supposed to say "sing," but they misspelled it to say "sng." You could probably sell it for more because of that.
