America is a country with diverse cultures among its people and states. From one state to another, they all have their cliches. Below, we have compiled a funny collection of photos that sum up what each of the 50 states is all about. Scroll down to find your state and see if we got it right :)

1. Alabama

Alabama folks only have to see this picture to know what is happening. While this may appear to be an image of a redneck and a poor floating device, it is beyond that.
Alabama
This is an ingenious fishing method in which a chair is set on wood and hooked to a car battery to make a boat. Let's not ignore the Alabama pride here either. Roll Tide!

2. Alaska

Okay, it is not every day you find a family of grizzly bears walking down the road on your way to work, well, unless you are from Alaska.
Alaska
Locals are used to seeing wild animals in this lowly populated state, and these animals can be found in the most unlikely of places, from roads to airport runways.

3. Arizona

Deserts, Grand Canyon, and more deserts. This is one of the hottest states in the US.
Arizona
With temperatures peaking at 120 fairenheit, it is not a place to go cool off. They also have an abundance of snakes and scorpions if you are into that.

4. Arkansas

Arkansas is another state with plenty of countryside. This home-state of Bill Clinton, is a nice place to hunt, and you can do it from your jacuzzi like this man.
Arkansas
Just make sure you take safety precautions, so other hunters don’t mistake you for a deer.

5. California

Nothing says California like a surfboard crashing into a car windshield. In the most populous state in the U.S, accidents such as this are commonplace.
California
The state known as the Golden State is also home to most celebrities.

6. Colorado

Colorado is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and lives up to its slogan “Fresh Air and Fond Memories Served Daily.” According to a survey, Colorado has one of the fittest populations in America.
Colorado
There are enough outdoor recreation options for you to stay physically fit.

7. Connecticut

This is the richest state in the United States, and home to the countries one percent. They sure know how to live.
Connecticut
Some may think this is a huge mansion, but in Connecticut this is a small house.

8. Delaware

Nothing like a big sign to tell you all you need to know about a state. Delaware was the first state to ratify the US constitution.
Delaware
Also, it is known for not having a sales tax, which makes it a big shopping destination.

9. Florida

This picture is Florida through and through. They have plenty of alligators to scare any tourist.
Florida
This state is known for having alligators hangout in their pools and backyards. What is more cliche than an alligator on an alligator float in Florida?

10. Georgia

Georgia has many things for which it can lay claim to fame. It is the home of James Brown, Coca-Cola, and Delta Airlines, among others.
Georgia
But there is probably nothing Georgians love more than their peaches. The love is so strong that it is on their license plates.

11. Hawaii

Hawaii is a great destination for a vacation or wedding, a tropical paradise consisting of 8 islands. But it is also a site to many active volcanos.
Hawaii
This picture shows a school bus buried in volcanic ash. If you don’t mind the thrills of a possible explosion, off you go, say Aloha.

12. Idaho

This picture gives you a glimpse of what you can find in Idaho. Idaho is famous for its potato farms and gemstones, so this picture honestly shows the attractions in the north-western state.
Idaho
Unless you are planning to go off the grid and stuff yourself with potatoes, Idaho might not be your best bet.

13. Illinois

If you are looking to have a cake sized pizza, than Illinois is the state for you.
Illinois

14. Indiana

Indiana offers you the best in hospitality. These Midwesterners are very accommodating, as shown in this welcome sign.
Indiana
Apart from being friendly to strangers, they are also very passionate people, and the Hoosiers, as they call themselves, are proud of their state.

15. Iowa

The state where everyone is a farmer. There are no other professions in this state.
Iowa
Iowa is known for its flat land with vast agricultural fields. About 60% of Iowa is covered in these fields. The nutrient-rich soil of the state is great for farming.

16. Kansas

It's a twister...It's a twister!! Most people associate Kansas with tornados like in The Wizard of Oz. The Sunflower State is a land of not only tornados, but beautiful landscapes too.
Kansas
Due to its flat topography, tornados are a common occurrence. But apart from this, it is also a land of cornfields.

17. Kentucky

Even if you’ve never been to Kentucky, you have definitely heard of Kentucky fried chicken.
Kentucky
Nicknamed the Blue Grass State, this picture perfectly describes what the people of the state really care about – their "chickuns"

18. Louisiana

If you aren't dressed in Mardi Gras clothing all year round, you will stick out like a sore thumb.
Louisiana
It is the biggest holiday in Louisiana, and the most fun time of the year. People travel from all over the country to enjoy the festivities.

Maine
Many Canadians come to Maine in the summer to warm up at the pretty beaches.

20. Maryland

Maryland is notable for two things, its football teams and bad drivers. Due to the population, it is a place where you have to watch your back to avoid being hit by a car.
Maryland
This picture encapsulates both, especially the burning vehicle.

21. Massachusetts

Stormy and snowy weather is the order of the day in Massachusets. That and the thick accent of its inhabitants.
Massachusetts
There are times when the accent is so thick that it is hard to pick a word, even in writing, as in this picture, you can see for yourself.

22. Michigan

Michigan
No matter how many are shot, there are still enough left to run into cars on the road.

23. Minnesota

This signpost is a hilarious irony.
Minnesota
The land of Ten Thousand lakes is in no way sunshiny; it is one of the coldest states, and residents usually have a hot dish – a casserole made of tater tots, ground beef, and canned soup just to stay warm.

24. Mississippi

This state is the home of hospitality.
Mississippi
The residents are ever ready to ask you to share tasty pork ribs with them, and they themselves don’t mind eating as much as they can, which is why obesity is a big problem.

The good people of Missouri like their wheels big, everything from the smallest cars to the school bus can be turned into a monster truck.
Missouri
For all their macho man attitude though, they are quite friendly with their own.

This state has wonderful scenery and plenty of wildlife that roam about freely. From bears to wolves to coyotes, a bear and a man bathing together is not a big deal.
Montana
Montanans usually hunt these animals for food.

27. Nebraska

Nevada

New Hampshire
The motto of this state is Live free or die, and some of its residents include Adam Sandler.

30. New Jersey

If we are to go by the narrative of shows like The Jersey Shore, the Garden State is not filled with flowers and fruits, rather with buff tanned guidos with blowouts.
New Jersey
Television shows like this and Cake Boss made the state popular for its apparent high population of Italians.

31. New Mexico

Roswell, New Mexico is known for its alien sightings. In the summer of 1947, a farmer discovered an unidentified object in his sheep pasture.
New Mexico

32. New York

The concrete jungle of New York was where the pizza rat was found in 2015, and later became an internet sensation.
New York
The pizza slice carried by the rat represents the hard work and determination of New Yorkers. Also, the discovery of the rat while not a surprise, became a symbol of the concrete jungle.

33. North Carolina

North Carolina is a state with a beautiful environment and tasty barbecue. But when it comes to education, it is not a model state.
North Carolina
Ranking 34 out of 50 for quality K-12 education, it comes as no surprise that a road worker would write “Shcool” for School. He probably passed through the “Shcool” system.

34. North Dakota

Pennsylvania is blessed with a large space that is sparsely populated, and out there in the middle of nowhere, most of the residents are Amish.

50. Wyoming

You may think Texas is the home of the cowboy, but that's because you’ve never been to Wyoming.
